Suntem dependenti de carbohidrati fara sa stim, fara sa ne dam seama. Ori stim insa nu constientizam pe deplin implicatiile acestei dependente. Cel mai adesea aceasta se traduce prin pofta de dulce. De cate ori nu ati spus sau nu ati auzit pe cineva spunand: “mi-e pofta de ceva dulce” sau “nu pot manca fara paine”?

Multi oameni incearca sa isi reprime aceasta pornire de a manca dulce insa cel mai des cedeaza ispitei, deoarece pe termen lung aceasta nu este o solutie. Carbohidratii stimuleaza secretia de insulina rapid ceea ce in foarte scurt timp duce la hipoglicemie, cu alte cuvinte la o mai acuta senzatie de foame si pofta de dulce. Este ca si cum te-ai invarti in cerc. Cum rezolvam aceasta problema? Prin dezintoxicare! Dezintoxicarea de carbohidrati.

Majoritatea celor care urmeaza LCHF recunosc ca dupa un anumit timp nu le mai este pofta de dulciuri, nu mai simt nevoia sa manance o felie de paine (sau cinci) la omleta, nu mai au nevoie de cartofi pe langa friptura. Multi pot sta cu nasul in vitrina de la patiserie fara sa simta nici macar cel mai mic impuls de a cumpara si manca produsele. Perioada de dezintoxicare poate dura de la cateva zile pana la cateva luni, insa cert este ca la un moment dat scapam de dorinta de a manca dulce.

carbohidrati sub forma de dulciuri si sucuri carbogazoase

Dependenta de carbohidrati, ca si dependenta de alcool sau droguri, se poate trata insa intai se trece printr-o perioada de abstinenta. Forte multi renunta in acest punct deoarece le este foarte greu. Importanta este perseverenta dar si informarea, trebuie constientizat faptul ca va fi mult mai bine, si aceasta intr-un viitor foarte apropiat.

Semne ca esti dependent de dulce:
– esti flamand din nou la scurt timp dupa masa, de obicei in jur de doua ore
– esti obosit/epuizat dupa ce ai mancat
– te simti cu mintea “incetosata” dupa masa
– odata ce te-ai apucat de mancat parca nu te poti opri
– ciugulesti intre mesele principale de multe ori, pentru ca ti-e pofta sau foame
– ai ameteli sau dureri de cap la 3-4 ore dupa ce ai mancat
– te simti balonat dupa masa
– iei in greutate chiar daca mananci “normal” sau dupa “o dieta echilibrata”

Persoanele dependente de carbohidrati au o toleranta scazuta la glucoza si la ele pofta de dulce se declanseaza foarte rapid. Sensibilitatea la carbohidrati are un efect negativ asupra metabolismului, productiei hormonale si a sanatatii pe termen lung.

Cum ne invingem dependenta de carbohidrati?
Evitati dulciurile! Acesta este primul sfat pe care il primim insa nu este indeajuns. Odata ajunsi in organism, toti carbohidratii, atat cei cu ardere rapida cat si cei cu ardere lenta sunt transformati in glucoza. Pentru a scapa de pofta de dulce este indicat sa renuntam nu numai la dulciuri, sucuri, bauturi carbogazoase ci la celelalte surse de carbohidrati: produsele de panificatie, orezul, cartofii, pastele, radacinoasele etc.
Cand ne este “pofta de ceva dulce” de obicei confundam aceasta pofta cu foamea. Ne pacalim singuri: nu mancam pentru ca ne este pofta de ceva ci deoarece suntem flamanzi si nu putem sa privam organismul de o nevoie bazala cum este mancarea, nu-i asa? Puneti-va intrebarea: chiar imi este cu adevarat foame?
Invatati sa identificati pofta de dulce ce apare din alte cauze cum ar fi stresul sau anxietatea. Incercati sa gasiti cauza asa-zisei pofte.
Acordati-i timp si organismul se va dezobisnui cu “dulcele”, iar un nivel relativ constant al insulinei va conduce la o disparitie a nevoii de a manca produse bogate in carbohidrati.
