Pe perioada verii suntem toti mai insetati decat in restul anului, iar un obicei foarte prost al nostru al romanilor este sa ne potolim setea nu cu apa ci cu bauturi carbogazoase sau cu alcool, in special cu bere. Conform unui raport prezentat de Asociatia Berarii Romaniei, in anul 2015 romanii au consumat 80 de litri de bere pe cap de locuitor.

Tentatiile sunt multe si la tot pasul, terasele si barurile in aer liber, in oras sau la mare vin cu o varietate foarte mare de bere. Stim cu totii ca nu este bine sa bem alcool iar moderatia este cuvantul de baza, insa de cate ori nu am spus “ei, o bere mica nu a facut rau nimanui..”? Inca una si ma duc.. parca asa suna o reclama de acum cativa ani. Si asa o fi, daca uneori calcam pe alaturi nu o fi o catastrofa asa de mare, insa ce impact are consumul de bere asupra unei persoane ce urmeaza dieta LCHF?

In primul rand nu ar trebui sa consumati bere daca urmati LCHF. Exista alte alternative daca doriti sa consumati alcool: vinul sec, sampania etc.
In al doilea rand, daca citim etichetele de pe sticlele sau dozele de bere observam ca 100 ml de produs contin, de obicei, sub cele 5 gr de carbohidrati pe zi, unul dintre sfaturile bune de urmat daca mancati LCHF. Si atunci care este problema?

Cati dintre noi beau doar 100 ml de bere? Problema consta in faptul ca o sticla de bere contine de 5 ori mai mult, daca este de jumatate, sau in cel mai “bun” caz de 3,3 ori mai mult daca este la doza. O bere de 1 litru contine echivalentul a aproximativ 40 gr de zahar (4 gr la 100 ml). Cu alte cuvinte, regula dupa care ne ghidam cand citim etichetele in alimentatia LCHF nu se aplica atunci cand vine vorba de bere. O singura doza de bere ne poate scoate din starea de cetoza, poate stopa scaderea in greutate (simpla prezenta a alcoolului in organism limiteaza metabolismul grasimilor ca sursa de energie, el se va concentra in primul rand pe metabolizarea alcoolului, lucru valabil si daca bem vin, sampanie sau alte tipuri de bauturi alcoolice) si poate face ca nivelul zaharului in sange sa creasca subit (atentie diabetici).

Acestea fiind spuse, o bere rece din cand in cand pe timpul verii, nu ar fi o catastrofa atata timp cat o faceti in cunostinta de cauza si nu repetati des experienta. Persoanele care sufera de diabet sau cele ce doresc sa slabeasca precum si toti cei ce urmeaza LCHF-strict sau normal se pot orienta totusi spre alte surse pentru a-si potoli setea: apa, ceaiul cu gheata (ceai natural si nu cel tip Nestea, plin de zahar din comert), apa aromatizata sau un pahar de vin alb sau roze, rece ca gheata (daca se prefera alcoolul).
