Poké Bowls au devenit foarte populare anul trecut, conturile de instagram sunt pline cu fotografii ale acestor bunatati culinare in voga.

Poké Bowls sau pur si simplu bowls isi au originea in Hawaii si au devenit populare in toata lumea pe filiera californiana. Felul de mancare hawaiian isi are originea in satele pescaresti unde pescarii au incercat sa foloseasca si ultimele ramasite ale pestilor atunci cand ii filetau. Bucatile de peste care ramaneau in urma filetarii erau taiate in cuburi mai mici si marinate ca apoi sa fie mancate din castroane de plastic, acoperite cu ceapa hawaiiana si diferite nuci.

In zilele noastre exista poké bowls cu peste crud marinat, cu orez aromat si legume gustoase in diferite variante, acompaniate de sosuri sau dressinguri fie mai onctuoase sau mai lejere.

Un fapt interesant este ca s-a trecut de la ideea originara in care proteina era reprezentata de peste la a se folosi orice tip de proteina: porc, pui, vita, crustacee, oua fierte, existand chiar si bowls vegane pe baza de produse de soia.

Pentru a adapta un poké bowl la alimentatia LCHF, tot ce avem de facut este sa scoatem orezul si sa-l inlocuim cu orez din conopida, frunze crocante de salata (spre exemplu iceberg sau romana), varza chinezeasca etc. De asemenea, daca urmati o alimentatie LCHF vegetariana este recomandat sa evitati pe cat posibil produsele din soia si sa folositi spre exemplu nuci si alune sau oua fierte (in cazul ovo-vegetarienilor).
